Walkway of Shame

All we know is “one worker”,
We don’t know your name,
“From Vietnam” to KL,
The city of shame.

You gave up your life
For some eco construction,
And instead what it gave you
Was death and destruction.

Who were your loved ones?
What were your dreams?
Why did you come
To this country unseen?

You were crushed under concrete
And others now lame,
As we pass we’ll remember you
In this walkway of shame.
